COVID-19 Testing at PSC

Illinois Action for Children's Early Learning Programs, in partnership with the Housing Authority of Cook County, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and Prairie State College (PSC), will offer free COVID-19 testing for Illinois residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Testing will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 16, Thursday, Feb. 18, and Monday, Feb. 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in parking lots C and D, on the main PSC campus, located at 202 South Halsted, in Chicago Heights.

Tents will be set up in the parking lot south of Vollmer Road and west of Halsted. Signage will be posted and participants should remain in their vehicles for testing. When engaging with representatives, please wear a mask until instructed to remove it.

All ages are welcome. No appointment or referral is needed; however, a photo ID is required. Illinois residents are eligible for testing with or without symptoms. If insured, participants should bring their insurance card, but insurance is not required.

Test results will be available in 4-7 days. For more information, visit earlylearning.actforchildren.org/covid-test.
