Here are a few ways to look for information in a database.
KEYWORD SEARCH - This is the most common kind of search. Before you begin, identify a few keywords. For example, if you are writing a paper on Aristotle, some good keywords would be Greek Philosophy, Aristotle, and Ethics.
ADVANCED SEARCH - If you have too many search results to sort through, consider an advanced search. The option allows you to narrow your results, and find very specific information. Simply click the advanced option, and fill in as many fields as you want.
BROWSE - When you aren't sure exactly what you want, browsing is your best option. Most databases offer a browse by subject option. This is also known as the "click and scroll" approach.
