Learning to evaluate the sources you find on both the open Internet and the Library's website are an important part of both English 102 and for being an engaged citizen. This page will help you learn some of the techniques and concepts important in learning how to properly evaluate information. While this may take a little extra time in researching your papers and projects, learning how to do so will not only improve your grades, but improve your understanding of the constantly-connected information environment in which we live.
While performing your searches on both the Internet and using the Library's tools, you will need to evaluate the material you find to ensure they are from reputable, or credible sources.
